Silvan Wildhaber

Silvan Wildhaber is CEO of Filtex AG and since 2017, he has served as a delegate of the Board of Directors of the family-owned textile company, which employs around 100 people. Since 2022, he has also served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the parent company, Emil Anderegg AG. Silvan Wildhaber began his professional career in finance at Credit Suisse Trust AG before joining the family business in 2006, where he held various management positions. He is actively involved in business and industry associations. Prior to assuming the role of Chairman of economiesuisse, he served on the boards of Swiss Textiles, economiesuisse and the Swiss Employers’ Association, as well as on the board of the European textiles association Euratex. He also holds various board and foundation board mandates within his own corporate group and in textile-related fields. Among other roles, he is a member of the Foundation Board of the Textile Museum St. Gallen. 

Silvan Wildhaber holds a degree in Business Administration at the University of St. Gallen (HSG). He lives in Zurich with his family, is married and has two sons.
